    The Harboe Beer Factory wanted to solve the expansion of its production capacity by implementing a new production plant besides the existing old production facility. The construction works started in the last quarter of 2008 by expanding the building of the old production plant. It was followed by the installation of technological equipment, tube assembling and electric installation works. Our work was the complete execution of electric and automation cabling, the installation of sensors, and the production of the 0,4 kV technological engineering main distributor in Hungary, then its commissioning on site. This work was a great challenge for all our colleagues, primarily because of the short deadlines and because of the complexity of tasks. During execution our experts often cooperated with the managing technicians and professional companies coordinating the different fields in order to promote efficient and fast work performance. We delivered completely the cable trays and accessories needed for heavy current and weak-current cabling from Hungarian supply for our Client in Denmark.

    The production of a good quality beer requires the installation of extremely precise and complex technological solutions. Each process and parameter is monitored by a complete process management monitoring system through the installed on-site intervention components. Following the integration of the intervention components (valves, engines, frequency converter drives, PLC automations), our technician group solved their electric connections and the configuration of paths. During assembly we have incorporated several tons of cable trays and several kilometers of cables, connected them to the appropriate equipment, for which we were present with about 10 persons on average on site. I think that this more complex, diversified work within a limited deadline offered a lot of professional experience for all our colleagues participating in the project, and they could have a look not only into the electric tasks, but into other execution works as well, and participate in them under the management of the manager technician. However, our company has always found the challenge in the solution of extreme tasks by the completion of which we have gained the confidence of our Danish partners. This task was the construction of the 0,4 kV technological, engineering main distributor. Not only because of its complexity but because of the extremely short deadline as well.

    This short deadline demanded precise, self-devoted and perfect work performance from everybody. All the installed devices, parts was of Telemechanique manufacture, except for the posteriorly installed Danfoss frequency converters, which were installed in Denmark. Following the delivery of the engineering-technological distributor we immediately started its commissioning, then the completion of final assembling and modifications, the installation of frequency converters, and the execution of function tests. The complexity of the production unit and that of the production processes is well represented by the fact, that we have provided permanent presence at site for the completion of trial operations after handing over for another two months. The successful handing over and the enduring work resulted in a mutually good relationship between Harboe company and KONsys. As a result of this we negotiate about the execution of a comprehensive energy audit aiming the reduction of energy consumption and the increase of production efficiency. Because good quality is not sufficient, but the permanent maintenance of quality and efficiency is the only strategy which can ensure the obtainment and maintenance of good market positions and long term development for any company.
